Doris

We are so grateful for the work ARSI and Nikki do for these dogs!

Doris came to us about two months ago and she is such a gift. She had an adjustment period, as to be expected, and now you can tell she loves life with us and has settled in. There are three of us - myself, my husband, and our 7-year-old, and Doris is attached to all of us.

She's so affectionate and sweet, and is not shy about asking for belly rubs and walks! She and the cat get along just fine, she loves our long walks, and she loves it when my son and husband get home from work and school. She of course likes that I work from home but does just fine when I’ve had to go into the office. Honestly, she naps most of the day between walks and backyard squirrel excursions.

She loves watching the squirrels and zooming around the backyard, going to my son’s soccer games, and has met other dogs in our neighborhood. She gets along well and enjoys our family members’ dogs as well, which we're so grateful for. Doris is so funny with her toys -- she loves having little stuffed animals and squeaky toys but just carries them around when she's excited and collects them on her bed. 

It was a pleasure working with Nikki and ARSI throughout the adoption process. We appreciate their clear communication, guidance, and transparency throughout each step. They answered every question and provided support when necessary. We will be forever grateful for ARSI and our sweet Doris.
